Award for Causal AI: Xplain Data has been honored with the F.A.Z. AI Innovation Award 2025 for its patented Causal AI technology. The jury praised the solution for its innovative strength, social relevance, and technological prowess.
The award, presented by the German AI Association and the F.A.Z. Institute honors groundbreaking AI solutions that are bringing about lasting change in companies, industries, and even society as a whole. Out of more than 200 applications, only seven projects per category made it to the final round—a new record and a special honor for us.
Causal AI stands for a new generation of explainable AI that integrates Causal Thinking into automated decisions – for greater transparency, better decisions, and real impact in complex environments.

The winners were announced on June 4, 2025, at the Innovative Leaders Conference at the DHL hub in Leipzig, which this year had the motto “With the courage to change.”
